I, too, thought all other sections (the cigarette, the butt, the smoke curls, the eye and nose), had been appended. There was no doubt in my mind that the text (the brand name of a local cigar) was not a part of the original Transmission –(I do not believe that The CircleMakers are physical, hence do not expect They’d have a desire for a noxious weed ...). I’ve long believed that there is almost NO ‘hoaxing’ going on in the cropfields of the world, and wondered if this year FINALLY I might have an opportunity to actually explore some such ... was I ever in for a major surprise ...

We first located and obtained permission from Farmer John H—He was quite happy to allow us access to his Circle as long as we promised to keep to the tramlines. In fact, two Circles had arrived on this farmer’s land on opposite hills across the A361 highway, and we received permission to visit both of them. As we parked at the rolled-up hay barrels, I could barely contain my excitement as I trundled up the hill toward the Formation – only my second this Summer ...

I began dowsing as I walked the last 10 meters up the hill, as I often do to obtain a ‘feel’ of the field’s energies. As I stepped into the Flower, the rods reacted to the SoundBarrier surrounding one of the petals in a familiar way.. ‘Ah!’, I thought contentedly ... here was confirmation that the Flower had indeed been Transmitted by our CircleMakers. I dowsed a few more areas within the Flower for confirmation, then moved into the area of the cigarette. Before I stepped out of the Flower into it, my eyes confirmed that the perimeter stalks appeared identical to those I’d just admired in the Flower. I was surprised, to say the least! Then, to my complete amazement, the dowsing rods responded positively as I stepped into the long rectangle of the cigarette, as well! I walked its length occasionally dowsing the ‘walls’, and each time received the appropriate and expected reaction that I have in all the CircleMakers’ Gifts. At the end of the cigarette, I stepped over the standing stalks into the ‘butt’. In front of me I saw a very messy lay – nothing fancy, no nice swirls, just the stalks swept away from me toward the ‘fire-end’ of the butt. Definitely messy, yes – BUT ... the dowsing rods I’ve come to trust again responded as they recognised the SoundBarrier. I was astounded, and confused -- yet by this time I knew that something really unique was in play ...

The wisps of smoke were beautifully laid – they reminded me of the ‘Long Etchilhampton’ Formation of last year, wherein a ‘bowling ball of Light’ might’ve laid the Paths in an almost identical manner, plastering the Perimeter Stalks high up onto the standing stalks enclosing them. The nose (especially the nostril), and eye were also laid gracefully, casually, and very beautifully. I rechecked all the areas, noted the elongated nodes in all sections of this quite bizarre Gift, and proceeded to the ‘text’. To no surprise, my rods did NOT register SoundBarriers around ANY of the letters, the crop lay was messy, the stalks were especially dried and ... dead. These letters looked nothing like the rest of the Formation, and was, IMO, clearly stomped by jokers ...

As incredible as it was to me, I now believed that the entire Formation was of a piece, had been Transmitted in its entirety by our CircleMakers. My next question was ‘WHY’?

As I stood in the cigarette and asked The CircleMakers that specific question, I saw in my mind two hands extended to me – in one was the Flower OF LIFE ... in the other something that hastened disease, death ... the antithesis of LIFE. A choice was being offered me in the moment. My ‘monkey’ has been cigarettes – I’ve quit MANY times L -- But was smoking at the time I was in the Formation. At the moment of offering, I opted for Life ... and decided in that moment to quit cigarettes. Somehow, there are Energies within that Circle that assist those who are ready to quit. I’ve not had a cigarette since then, though I’ve been having an especially difficult time of quitting recently, even with The Patch. Two other Circle Visitors whom I subsequently spoke with about this Formation related receiving a similar message to the one I received, before I’d ever said anything to them about my own experience. I asked each what they thought of this Formation, and each informed me, ‘I know what it means TO ME’ ... When I asked them to share their perception, EACH responded, ‘It means to me that I need to quit smoking’.
