REPORT

The Upham formation is near Eastleigh in Hampshire. The hedge at the top of the photo marks a minor road running NW-SE and the tramlines run SW-NE.

These photos were taken at approx. 16:30 yesterday 15th June.

UPDATE

I w went flying this morning (accompanied by Lucy Pringle) to re-check on the formations at Upham and Droxford, already reported. Lucy has several pictures. We also got some better ones of the formation at Upham, a scan is posted with this report the photo taken by Joyce McKenzie.

Two other formations were found nearby each of the original Upham and Droxford ones. One a short distance north of the first Droxford one (in the next field), has two unequal-sized circles surrounded by rings, with the larger having six satellites. This was not present nine days ago. The other was about a mile north east of the first Upham one and aligned with its axis, shows as one large and one small circle joined by a linear pathway. We can't say whether this was present or not earlier.

From the air, the best formed was Upham 1. The others are either older or less well formed, appearing somewhat ragged.

Also explored the area east of Winchester centred on Cheesefoot Head. At approx. 1140 BST today 24th June, no crop formations were visible from the air in this area.
