| West Country TV - Friday 7th February, lunchtime news.
Farmer Thomas Thomas reports a crop formation on his land at Sennen, Cornwall. Two rings in silage grass, 40'-ish. Grass is dead but weeds alive. Similar to circle(s) at nearby Lizard Point, Cornwall, 6-7 years ago which were burnt into the grass. Sennen is almost the tip of the country only a couple of miles inland from Lands End. We like to thank Barry Reynolds for this report and an earlier report by George Bishop. We hope we will have a picture of the formation soon! |

Feb 1997 Reporter : Steve Fletcher Article Type : Full Headline : FIRST AND LAST STOP FOR SENNE SPACECRAFT Follow up from : UFO investigators have been out to the First and Last Inn at Sennen where two mysterious circles have appeared in the field behind the pub. Landlord Mike Trenwith, said that regulars discovered the circles, which have been flattened into the grass, at the weekend. "Since then we have been visited by UFO investigators employed by the BBC who spent their time here on their hands and knees looking for the 'pod marks' that might have been left behind by the spaceship!" said Mike. "We have had reporters from the Sun newspaper and numerous visitors out here inspecting the circles, but I can honestly say that I haven't seen any little green men hanging about!" He said that their is an outer and inner circle imprinted in the grass of the field. And both he and his customers are in two minds as to whether there is any mystery about them, or whether they have been formed by tractor tyres. "I still feel that the circles are man made." admitted Mike. But they have certainly created a lot of interest and we are now selling UFO Cocktail behind the bar!"
