THE MALTESE CROSS

| Near Morestead, in Hampshire, in Wheat, 110+ feet
Researchers are hotly divided 50/50 on this one. Peter felt that the geometry within this formation was inconsistent to its proportions, The Crop Circle Connector was impressed when we saw the pictures, and our opinion hasn't changed. Located within the village of Morestead, some 5 miles south east of the town of Winchester is this very well defined formation resembling a Maltese Cross design, or more comical representation of the Batman symbol. This design incorporates eight semi circles completing the outer perimeter floor construction, with an inner ring flowing anticlockwise in rotation. The diameter is approximately 100ft across, and covers three tramlines. We've done a survey of this one now and the farmer says he doesn't want any more visitors as the seeds are being trampled into the ground, which means having to spray the secondary crop off later. Can you please alert everyone to this? Thanks. Report by John Sayer. |
