I saw this (actually these) on August 2nd. What I saw first was a circle with a dumbell outside it, I think the shapes of the dumbell are not uniform circles but could not tell their exact shape. The large circle is about 30 ft and the dumbell ones about 5 or 6 ft. This is on the south side of the A5 about 3 miles SE Shrewsbury, just on the bridge crossing the Severn before the roundabout where the B4380 turns off. The formations are in wheat in the field next to the river - visible from the A5 as the bridge takes the road higher.

I asked locally how long the shapes had been there and was told "Well, the first one arrived a few weeks ago". This was not the one I had seen but the one you reported first. That one is on the north side of the A5. Apparently the next to appear was the circle that I saw first, followed by the dumbell a few days later.
