A field report by the Crop Circle Connector.

Located on a flat piece of land, near the A361 towards the market town of Devizes, is a very nice and well constructed formation, producing a Five Pointed Star, with three avenues coming out of each corner section. Two of them stop short, resembling the early nineties pictograms with the famous Boxes feature. The geometry is highly important, we have been told, and will feature something on this in an updated report.

The floor construction was extremely neat, with the crop being slightly riper than the Alton Priors formation, producing a very flat floor pattern, with waving directional flows in the surrounding ring. The lay within the paths creating the Star, had a fluid construction. Also the two avenues either side of the central avenue entering the outer ring were flowing towards the centre of the formation, not the other way around.

The centre circle had a clockwise rotation, as well as the outer ring. The overall design was extremely neat, it was so well made, and was well received from the people entering it on the Sunday. I feel that this weekend marked a turning point in the season, and that was also reflected in other people we spoke to on the 12th and 13th of July. A weekend that saw a warm and friendly gathering of "Croppies" from all around the world, at the Fun Weekend in Alton Barnes, the atmosphere was wonderful. This particular formation as well as the Huge Alton Priors design, were inspirational, and will continue to be, with many more to come I'm sure.
