Field Report

Formation originally spotted approx. end of June and surveyed at a similar time. The formation was just outside Duloe near Eaton Ford, St Neots 200 hundred yards from the A1 underpass. The crop was barley and firstly by comparison with other formations I have seen the stalks were only bent not in any way broken. The circle and crescent had both been laid anti-clockwise in a lovely sweeping motion very tidily. There were some signs of gap-seeking and the edges were very clean. The crop was just beginning to grow back. There were signs of entry to the formation but the farmer who was co-operative to my questioning had no idea how it had come to his land. The formation spanned four sets of tramlines at it's widest point. The field also contained a lot of lodging and an electricity substation as well as a lot of pylons running nearby. The field was on a slight incline and the formation was visible from the A1. If questioned I would declare the formation 'genuine' whatever that may be as it fulfilled the usual requirements the 'experts' mention.
