This formation came from John Sayer who did a grand tour of the south and midlands by plane. As soon as Mark and myself heard we took a fast trip down to Lutterworth. The first circle we came upon was situated alongside the A426. The Circle was located near a lay-by which gave us a chance to view it. The crop was Barley, and appeared to be in very good condition, so we assumed it hardly been visited. Through the binoculars the crop inside the single circle had an extremely neat rotation. This was the first single circle we had seen in the midlands this year, so we were somewhat satisfied as we left Lutterworth. Report by Nick Nicholson from The Circular Review.
