Pewsey White Horse, nr Pewsey,
Wiltshire. Reported early July. A single circle situated on the top of the hill, near the white horse. Approximately 100 feet in diameter, there are many standing stalks and some where completely uprooted. The crop was oats. |

Shoreham, Sussex. Reported July Three formations in one field. Dumbell/Triangle etc. Well Laid. |

A35 Wearham Road, nr Dorchester,
Dorset. Reported 14th July. This formation was reported to us by David Kingston. It is a dumbell with an arrow and is laid in a herringbone style. |

Two 1995 formations
that are not in your archive
There was an 8
Ball-looking circle somewhere in Wiltshire in 1995,
Late last year I went looking for a picture of it in
your archive but it wasn’t there. Here’s my video shot
of it. While looking for it I realized one of my
favorite formations from that year, which was across the
road from Old Sarum, was also missing. So last week I
got out my old 1995 video and grabbed frames of those
interesting creations. Sadly the quality sucks because
it was recorded and edited on analogue tape, then made
into a DVD which was subsequently turned into an avi
file — whew — down several generations! (Too bad I
can’t get to my original Hi-8 tape, but that’s in
storage in Jim Dilettoso’s controlled environment
vault. I’m going to write one of my rare reports about
them soon, so I hope you can tell me anything
interesting that you know about them (dates for
instance), please.
