Monkton Down, nr Avebury, Wiltshire.  Reported 1st/2nd May.

A very remote location for this formation. Set high up on Monkton Down, atleast one mile from Avebury village, this Rape Seed formation was extremely hard to visit, not only because of its lonely location, but the crop itself was 6/7ft in places, making it almost impossible to enter the field. This shot was taken from the field boundary, the small dark patches you see at the top of the field are actually Tumuli's (ancient burial mounds). The formation consisted of a large and smaller circle set within an outer ring, with smaller grapeshot circles (two in number) below the formation.
