This rather impressive single ringed circle, set high on the hill overlooking the world famous village of Bratton, near Westbury, was
rather overshadowed by the events at Bratton Camp, under the name of Operation Blackbird. The circle was also followed by a number of single
circles, which formed around the same time, possibly the 3rd of August? However, very few visited the circle, but as you can see from the two
photographs, there were the casual sightseers, who were very lucky to have a kind Farmer to leave it after the harvest. These two images were
taken from the roadside, as in 1990 we didn't have the equipment as we have now, to bring you a comprehensive coverage of the phenomenon. It
was more like being on awe, of what was one of the most spectacular seasons.
