Beckhampton, Nr Avebury, Wiltshire, Formed 25th July.

Three designs appeared in the same field on Firs Farm. There were two Scroll shapes positioned close to each other. Also a triangle shape was found about 50 yards down the field. Next to one of the Scroll's were two smaller ones situated near the tramlines, they were only about 5 metres in length.

These four additional ground, panoramic shots show the three circle scroll design, situated a little further up the field (see aerial shot) As you can see from the photographs the ground floor pattern was extremely fluid in its construction. The whole formation had the feeling that it was just formed within seconds. I can remember stating to my 'croppie' friend at the time, that it resembled running water. Indeed the smaller scroll also boasted the same floor construction, as well as the triangle formation, which was sandwiched between the two scroll designs.

Located just above the scrolls were a set of two smaller scrolls, very similar to their bigger brothers. From what I can remember, they were situated between the tramlines, as there was no evidence of any footprints, or tracks through the wheat.

My crop circle friend at the time was fairly experienced with dowsing, and set out to find if there was indeed anything in these formations. He started to dowse the triangle, but as he reached the centre of the circle (inside the triangle) he literally yelled with shock! It was such a power reaction on the dowsing rods and his body, that he had to express himself audibly.

I don't think he has ever experienced anything so powerful before, but which was also present in many other formations of that year. In fact, it was a presence, power, which hasn't really been experienced since 1990. The feel of the late nineties, new millennium formations, are different, but we are ten years on, and aspects of the phenomenon have changed. But the 1990 events, are important as comparisons towards the new formations of today.
