This quintuplet design formed with four outer satellites and four annular rings. One of the rings was connecting all four outer circles. The night this formation formed the farmer's dogs were barking relentlessly and would not settle on command which was completely out of character.
Two different quintuplets appeared within this field, the first one and the largest of the two formed on the 28th May, it consisted of a normal quincunx shape with four annular outer rings, no more than 5 inches in width. It's diameter was at least 300 feet, but the floor pattern was weaved instead of spiralled, especially within the central circle. About four weeks later another quintuplet attached itself to one of the satellites on the first formation. It was smaller in size, but more defined due to the maturing crop, as Barley is cut before the end of July. The second formation only had one ring which connected all the outer satellites.
Following a huge success in Japan C.P.R. International is currently in the process of producing the first comprehensive CD-ROM for UK and USA, which will include photographs from the air and ground by Colin Andrews over the past 17 years (plus some from police forces and the Ministry of Defense). The photographs will be fully referenced with maps and research comments etc... If you would like to be placed onto a no obligations waiting list for this unique record from the largest photographic library of its kind, please print out this page and you will receive details when available.
