A 11.8 metres. circle spiralled clockwise was found by Pat
Delgado at 9.30 PM on the 23rd June 1989. Pat visited this crop circle hot spot regularly
and came across this 'Sperm/Tadpole' pattern in wheat at Longwood Warren, Chilcomb, Grid
Reference: SU527 276. The circle had a tail entering it which was 1.05 Metres. wide. The
tail began as a taper from a single plant and ended at its widest end inside the circle. A
ground survey was conducted by CPR. Very positive dowsing experiments were carried out
here, where seven concentric rings were dowsed within the circle.
Ground photographs were taken by Colin Andrews and Pat Delgado and aerial photographs were
supplied by Hampshire Police, air support unit in their revolutionary new aircraft -
shortly before it crashed sadly killing all aboard.
