Mrs. Barbara Hall, the farmers wife at Corhampton Lane Farm, Corhampton, Hampshire was out riding her horse during the first week in August, 1984, when she came across a single circle swirled into her husband's wheat field at grid reference: SU 590 204. It measured approx... 40 feet in dia and was swirled in a clockwise direction. She went home, gathered her camera and took this photograph.

The Hall's saw another two formations on their farm, these to the north during 1987 and 1988. Others in the area also nearby appeared during 1990 and 1995.

When Colin Andrews later visited the site with Mr. Hall he was told that the circle had been positioned next to an old dew pond, which by this time had been filled in. Later, the other formations found on the northern part of the farm, also appeared next to water collecting 'dew ponds'.
